Standard drinks = (volume_mL × (ABV ÷ 100) × 0.789) ÷ 13.6
Grams ethanol = volume_mL × (ABV ÷ 100) × 0.789
Worked example. 341 mL at 5% ABV → 341 × 5% × 0.789 ÷ 13.6 = 0.99 standard drinks, 13.5 g ethanol.
