Break-even drinks/day = package price per day ÷ average drink priceWorked example. $80/day package, $12 average drink → 80 ÷ 12 = 6.7 drinks/day to break even.
Questions
Most cruise lines add an 18% service charge on top of the quoted package price. Add that to the daily price here for an accurate break-even.
Only if your package includes them and you'd have bought them anyway. Counting drinks you wouldn't normally order inflates the apparent value.
